Licence Definitions

 

Individual - Teacher or Learner

This product is licenced for use by an individual teacher or learner for private home use.  This product may not be installed on more than one computer owned by the purchasing individual and may not be installed on a machine within an educational establishment.

Educational - 1-300 Learners

This licence is for single educational institutions with between 1 and 300 permanent learners.  The product may be installed on all computers on a single site to be accessed by any teacher or learner from the institution.  The product may also be installed on computers owned by or lent to teachers or learners from the institution. This licence is not suitable for COMMERCIAL language schools.

Educational Licence - 301+ Learners and COMMERCIAL Language Schools

This licence is for single educational institutions with more than 301 permanent learners and COMMERCIAL language schools.  The product may be installed on all computers on a single site to be accessed by any teacher or learner from the institution.  The product may also be installed on computers owned by or lent to teachers from the institution.

Family of Schools - 8 schools

This licence is appropriate for UK DfES Specialist Language Colleges or other schools which support learning in a range of institutions.  The licence permits the product to be installed on all computers (including machines loaned to teachers) within the purchasing institution and within the institutions supported by the purchasing school.  This licence is limited to a maximum of 8 institutions.  Please contact us if you require an extension to this licence.  Please note that we may require documentation confirming the addresses of your family of schools. 

Worldwide Corporate

This product is licenced for corporate institutions and permits International Assistant to be installed and used on any computer owned by the company either on business premises or at private addresses in any country worldwide.
