What does an effective reward system look like in practice and how can it evolve to reflect a school’s values, culture, and pupils?
In this webinar, you’ll hear from Rokeby School on how their reward and behaviour systems have developed over time to support responsibility, wellbeing, and positive behaviour.
Webinar Details
Date: Tuesday 17th March
Time: 2pm GMT, 3 pm CET, 6 pm GST
Duration: 40 minutes
Guest Speaker
Kerry Bratt
Deputy Head Pastoral
Rokeby School
The session will explore real-world approaches including:
- Using ePraise for positive recognition, behaviour and homework tracking, while keeping clear boundaries around safeguarding
- How schools are giving pupils greater ownership of rewards, including opportunities to earn, manage, and even donate house points
- Balancing consistency and flexibility when staff award points and record incidents
- Recognising progress through achievements, milestones, certificates, and co-curricular pathways
Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, this session focuses on how schools adapt ePraise to fit their own context. The emphasis is on practical decisions schools have made, what’s worked well, and what they’ve learned along the way.
